Sustainability

A virtuous production cycle.

We are committed to reducing the use of chemicals, supplementing them with low-environmental- impact agronomic practices. An effective and convenient production strategy that combines respect for the environment with product quality. We reduce the ecological footprint by improving the ratio between available resources and consumed resources.

To optimize water resources in the face of climate change, we use a drop-by-drop irrigation system. A controlled method thanks to underground probes that measure soil humidity and provide timely information on when, how much and how to supply water to the olive trees. For the agrometeorological system we collaborate with the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna of Pisa, one of the first institutions to have experimented with forecasting models. In this way we avoid waste, optimizing resources and costs.

Prunicce Forest

The Prunicce Forest is located within our Farm. 40 acres of land where we raise donkeys, goats, cows and sheep. The natural fertilizer we use to take care of our olive groves comes from these animals.

Our goal

Through the protection of natural resources and the reduction of water and energy consumption, as well as polluting emissions, we are committed to increasing productivity in a sustainable and inclusive way.
