The olive graves

Our olive groves are an integral part of the Tuscan landscape

They overlook the sea and dominate the hills. Our olive trees belong to strictly Tuscan varieties: Leccino, Moraiolo, Pendolino, Frantoio, Maurino, Leccio del Corno.

The olive groves of the Farming Business are arranged both in mixed plantings respecting traditional agriculture and in more recent specialized olive groves and along the avenues of the Farm. Plant care is the starting point for the production of quality olive oil and for the protection and respect of the typical Tuscan landscape. In fact, there are several thousand olive trees for ornamental purposes only.

We planted our olive groves in sandy soil, rich in rock fragments and minerals. Some plants are located on a slope towards the sea and others in a hilly area. They all enjoy a special microclimate and are sheltered from the cold north winds thanks to the nearby hills.
